Mike is the specialist for big trophy blue catfish from the months September to March.  His clients have caught dozens of blues over 60 lbs, with the two largest being 87 and 98 pounds.  He just might land a world record before it's all said and done.  Mike travels to whatever lake in Tennessee and Alabama that is producing big fish.  My best trip with him we landed a 25, 30, 30, 36, 58, 59, and 65 lb blues.

Richard also likes to target big catfish throughout the year.  He likes to fish for many species though, and he's very good at pulling big crappie in the spring.  He offers a variety of trips from 2-8 hours to meet your needs.  He'll let you know what species is currently the most productive.

My favorite time to fish with Richard is May and June.  Please understand that his fishing is good all year round, but he is a tailwater specialist.  This is my favorite time because it isn't uncommon to catch dozens of catfish.  If you have never fished for catfish with light equipment in tailwaters, you are missing out.  This is the way to go for KIDS!  I have taken some of my students fishing with him and we've had as many as 4 catfish on at once!
